The Rwenzori Rainmakers, is a three-part documentary series that offers a unique, hopeful insight into a community adapting to climate change. In Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains, an ecologically critical region at great risk, a group of local artists turned conservationists rally their neighbours to restore their environment. Through intimate, character-driven stories, we witness villagers confronting floods and landslides, shifting from poaching to protection, and reviving cultural traditions to heal the land. Founded in 2008, the Bronze Foundry has grown into an 18-year reforestation movement that has planted 200,000+ trees, brought back endangered species, and united the communities in Kasese District, Uganda.
